The problem

Numbers nobody had checked

Profitbl's SDRs dialled numbers nobody had checked. A data tool says a number belongs to a person. It doesn't say if that person picks up.

Most dials went to voicemail, a switchboard or the wrong person. In Profitbl's own database, nobody knew anything about 9 out of 10 numbers. At a 6% pickup rate, a rep needs about 17 dials for one conversation.

What changed

Verified before the first dial

We started verifying Profitbl's numbers before the team called them. Reps dialled numbers we knew reached the right person.

The results

Two campaigns. Two lifts.

Both campaigns ran the same way. Verify the numbers first, then call. On the security software campaign, the same client had never gone past 5%. With verified numbers, the team hit 12.8% in under three weeks.

How we count a pickup: the named contact answering. Reception, phone menus and voicemail don't count.
